Psyche

The Greek philosopher Aristotle gave the butterfly the name “Psyche”, the Greek word for soul. Many other cultures since have similarly related butterflies with the human soul. The Psyche series literalises this connection, by re-arranging the bones of the skeleton into various shapes resembling the butterfly; turning something morbid and distressing into something beautiful, familiar and easier to process through and cope with.
