In Matrix

In Matrix sculptures are an exploration into humanity’s propensity to covet nature. The molten alloy forms represent valuable resources of which we seem to find the need to carve out of nature, purging the earth only to embed it within our ‘civilised’ lives. The square concrete slabs represent order and humanity’s urge to control, confining the organic beauty in an industrial cage.
